After downloading about 10 audio converters,·I found two excellent programs that make it possible to play songs from your iPod or more specifically, iTunes, on your Prop.

Instructions:

Go to the two sites listed at the bottom of this post and download those programs.

You need both to play music from iTunes--one converts M4A (iTunes music format) to mp3, and the other can convert pretty much anything to anything else (except for M4A and midi)

One you have the M4A to mp3 converter, click on Add files...·and select the iTunes song you want to play on the prop.· Then, you an speify what folder you want the mp3 version in by selecting the second bullet in the bottom left section.· Make sure the output format says MP3, then click on the button in the top right corner that says Convert.· It should load and then a popup appears saying it was converted.· You can then open the folder it was saved to or just continue.

*THIS IS A CRUCIAL STEP--IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS STEP, YOUR SONG WILL BE ABOUT 15 MINUTES LONG, AND COMPLETELY USELESS!*
Next, you need to use the Windows audio converter.· Right click on your new mp3 song and select Convert audio format.· Select Windows Media Audio as the file format and change the quality to smallest size, or 32 Kbps.· Select whatever folder you want to save the new file in, and hit next.· It should show [your file name].mp3
Ready· Select Start Conversion and then a popup should appear saying it was converted; click OK.· Then, just select exit.

Now go to your RAD Video Tools program and find your new [file name].wma song.· Click on it and then select Convert a File (next to the button that says Smack it!)· At the very top of the box, it should say Output file info: and since my song was Drops of Jupiter, I just put jupiter.wav· Make sure you have your output type set to WAV if you want to play it with the prop.· Be sure that the Convert Audio: box is checked, and select the bullet next to "To 16-bit/mono" and type in 16000 for the rate.· Now, click convert.

A little loading box should appear and hit Done when it's finished converting.

There you go!· You can now just right click and send the .wav song to your SD card and play it with the prop!· It works really nicely if you have a headphone cable (male to male) and plug it into something such as an iBase...· burger.gif

Enjoy!
