Hello,

I just bought a propeller education kit.
I wired the board as mentionned in the manual and tried to run the test program (led + button).

It loads well in the RAM, and the program runs perfectly (I even tried the PWM object from the Obex, that's

Sounds like a bad connection on the EEPROM. Try contacting Parallax.

There's probably something wrong with how you've wired the EEPROM. Pull out the EEPROM and the wiring between that and the Propeller and reinsert it. There's a write protect pin on the EEPROM. If it's accidentally shorted to some other pin, the program may not be written to the EEPROM.

Could it be a low battery? Not providing enough current for writing the data correctly, but not weak enough for failure of the propeller? Just an idea.

You were right Mike, I didn't wired the WP pin on the EEPROM correctly. Next time I'll check my wiring more carefully !

    Thanks.

I have had the same problem. I had a lot of sensors running and it turned out to be a current issue. I switched to using the 5vdc from an old pc power supply and the problems went away.
