This is an update to an earlier garage monitor I made using the BS2 and PINK.

On the second version I switched from using a mercury switch on the door to a magnetic reed swtich, dropped the temperature monitor and PIR.

Joe, if this is an update to an existing project, please link updates on the original post. As this post does not contain the information needed to complete the project I am going to move it to the BASIC Stamp forum for now. Please see the following link if you have any questions. Take care.

Do you have a link to the original Garage Monitor?

I'd like to build that one since it monitors temperature?

    Thanks,

I went to the instructables web site, but it appears that one has to
pay a monthly fee in order to be able to download the PDF file, the
code and the script needed for the Pink module.

It would be very nice if you could attach these to your post here.

You have to be a member in order to download a PDF.

I don't recall ever paying any money for the membership.

When you sign up for an account, click the "Skip" link underneath all the "Pro" options.

Thanks all for looking, the original version is posted here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Garage-Monitor-3k/

I made a couple changes now that I have been using it. I editted the PHP page to check the user agent, if it is an iphone I send it to a different html page without any images so it loads faster and uses some AJAX code I found that auto sizes the text to be full screen in the iphone web browser.
