What CLKFREQ do people use?

I am developing an alternate TV_text driver and I'm wondering what CLKFREQ people use in their projects?· I know that Coley and others have managed well over 120MHz, but I'm more interested in whether people use the Propeller at lower speeds - like 15MHz or less.

You see, in order to get under 20MHz I will have to make the code larger, but I'm not sure whether it is worth the effort.· Although at 20MHz, the code will only support ~16 characters per line.· Thus even if the code will support lower clock rates, does anyone want to look at a 10 char x 24 line display?

With a 5mhz crystal you can run at 4x to get 20. Normally run at 16x to get 80 but 1,2,4,8,16 are your choices

@mctrivia - I know the capabilities, the question is what are people using for their projects? Do people typically stick with 80MHz and higher, or do some people have projects where they use a lower clock rate?

Slower clock rates are often used if there is a low power requirement.
