Hi,
I have Propeller Demo Board, I connected a standard Keyboard:Micronics, a standard optical mouse:genius and a standard monitor: LG(I use these in my computer); but when I turn On the propeller, I see in the monitor: a screen with 4 buttons, but I can't execute theses buttons. When I press a key of the keyboard only the 3 leds are On (Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock). If I move the mouse, in the screen I can't see a pointer.
are monitor and mouse special for propeller? beacuse when I use standard mouse and keyboard I can't do nothing
Or What keyboard and mouse can I use?
Thanks

And have you loaded any software onto the chip yet. Have you tired out any of the demos?
Programs need to be loaded onto the chip from the propeller tool developement enviorment. Then the mouse and keyboard can be used.
Sound like you are just seeing the basic demo software loaded onto the chip when it shipped. You need to load other things onto the chip also to use all of its features.

Nyamekye,
Download this program from the OBEX that has mouse and keyboard support for instant gratification!
