Easy Blue Tooth //// EB500,,,, Parallax??????

Hi guys I have the EB500 Blue tooth card that I wanted to use with BoeBot I can do a few things with it but it looks like the Easy Bluetooth has much more support is the new Easy Bluetooth a replacment for the EB500 or an entirly differant controller.
On a software level are the two in anyway compatible ?????????
