    Looking for some folks who have successfully done it - I'm VERY new to XBees and need to hook up my stamps to them. I know about level adjustments (the Xbee needs 3v inputs instead of 5v), and I'm just looking to verify my idea of a basic 4-pin application for the Xbee - 2 pins for power, one pin Data In from a pin on the BS2, and another pin on the Xbee to another pin on the BS2. The BS2 running the Xbee with the usual SERIN and SEROUT commands at 9600 baud... schematics/code examples basically. In fact - if I am correct about the hookup, just code examples would suffice to confirm my thinking about the communications.

    Of course, this all depends on whether I can get my PC to successfully communicate with teh XBee development boards to begin with - but that's another problem... smile.gif

    Look at the adapter boards previously sold by Selmaware for the xBee and Stamps (www.selmaware.com). He no longer sells the kits, but the manuals and schematics are useful.

    You should be aware that XBee now comes in two different models, Series 1
    and Series 2. A recent thread with a post by Tracey Allen may be worth

    You people are AWESOME! Thank you, this is exactly the info I was looking for. I found great code examples, and schematics confirm my basic design, and even gave me some ideas to go one better for nearly no extra effort!
