Interfacing 1GB MicroSD Flash Card to a propeller

I have access to several 1GB MicroSD Flash Cards.
I'm thinking it would be cool to just wire them directly up to a propeller permanently.
I mean using no sd card socket, just wire it up. What parts would I need to do this.
I'm hoping it is a simple and straightforward thing to do since it would be fun to have
cheap 1GB flash for the propeller. Maybe I could get the plastic case off the little things
and wire them up right on top of the dil prop chip and cover it over with a blob of epoxy
If I could do it I'd basically have a 1GB flash version of the propeller for a little soldering
and a nearly free sd card.

Interfacing is easy. See OBC's cookbook or alternately look at my TriBladeProp schematic. Code is in OBEX for Femto.

Glad I did not go for soldering directly to the microSD as downloading large files through a serial link is pretty slow.

For me, the past is not over yet.
That's a better idea!
These SD cards also have the adapter inside the package.
It will be better to be able to swap the micro SD in and out of the little adapter
Also easier to solder to the larger SD adapter.
I can just epoxy the SD adapter to the edge of the circuit board to make it easy to swap
the tiny microSD.
You have to be careful soldering the adapter because it melts easily...

Nice soldering
We have this electrically conductive glue that I'm going to try on the SD card contacts.
This guy makes his own conductive glue...a good idea as it is costly!

Thanks for the tip about the conductive glue. Speaking of glue, I am glad to see you stick around the forum.

Here's a commercial alternative. Has anyone used this stuff?

Thanks
I will become a fixture as soon as my Propeller gear all gets delivered.
I will need lots of help.
