Any thoughts on auto GPS units ???? Garmin Street pilot

Guys I have a very nice Garmin street pilot C330 ,, it works perfectly but I broke the screen display I was wondering if anyone here would know if there is a way we can hack them to be used with our robot projects???
I bet there are quite a few working units with busted screens I tried to Google it but got nothing but how to use it for driving directions , It is not worth repairing but I have wanted a GPS unit for my robot project for a while
and if there is way to interface this to a prop or stamp I would be very grateful ?
I am also willing to hack it apart and post photos if anyone else wants to try and use these units I found re manufactured units selling for 90 bucks this unit even has an SD card interface
