Can someone provide a schematic,·including·pin·designations, & a·component list of a circuit that will take a BasicStamp output voltage and, (using inexpensive components,) turn on/off a standard household device?· ·The dumbed down the better. <|:-(

PS Will an OMI-SS-212D work·for this?·

Depends on the load, for controlling heaters and incandescent lights you ca go up to 5 amps. for motors or florescent lights/bulbs 1.5 amps max. Now since most outlets in you house will be 20 or 15 amp be sure to put a fuse in parallel with you load.

as a schematic do a google search for "stamp driving relays" or check out:

also **** Do not omit the protection diode****

    Sorry for the hijack.

Lincoln, what software creates the schematic you posted?

    Thanks,
    Dominic
