Temperature reading distance issue

I have a project (how many post start with that?) where I am going to monitor the temps in three ovens and two freezers.
I need to create a web page that will show the temps and send an email or text message when the temps go out of range.
I'm looking at using a PINK + BS2PE +DS2760s for the ovens and LM34->ADC for the freezers.
The problem I am coming up with is that we need to have about 25 foot runs between the sensors and the BS2PE.
Anyone have any experience they want to share in putting together something like this? I'm good at programming and
putting hardware together, but the finer points of design are sometimes trouble for me.
I'm fine with changing parts around, nothing is set in stone yet, but my friend with the pizzeria is extremely price sensitive.
Thanks for ANY help an of you can provide.

I would stick with the T/C and the DS2760s. A type K or J for the ovens and a type J or T for the Freezers.I would mount the DS2760s close or on the board with the Stamp. Next I would home run the T/C wire back to the DS2760s or at least make it all T/C wire to avoid more then one cold junction.
I have tested the DS2760 against a 724 Fluke temp. calibrator. the DS2760s are dead on the money!,
The T/C length is not a problem. I have seen T/Cs with runs over 500Feet. You can Look up Seabeck voltage and T/Cs
to see why.
I haven't used the PINK yet, But maybe someone who has will chime in.

BTW, my dad had a '67 Formula S Cuda (383/360HP). Decided at the last minute, literally, to sell it before I got my license (needed a clutch and brake drums), I wound up with a 70 Cyclone GT with a 429CJ and the Drag Pack, 11.03's in the quarter @ 108 MPH, in E Stock class. 35 years ago of course.

I'm looking at the docs for the DS2760 and they say to just strip back and twist the wires together.
I know these guys are going to clean the pizza oven some time, will cleaning stuff contaminate the wire ends in the oven?
Can I solder the wire ends together?

Yes You can soilder the working end of a T/C, Just keep in mine the melting point of the soilder.
You can get T/Cs already made-up with a stainless steel jacket that would last a life time at the temps You are running at.
(The T/C is in a protective S/S jacket. Clean the oven all you want)
A T/C joint can be made at any point in the run to the DS2760 as long as it is all T/C wire and the same type of T/C wire all the way back to the T/C connections on the DS2760..!!!
Just to make sure You understand the cold junction END. If You have a 12 inch type " J " T/C (like the one that comes with the DS2760) and a 25 foot run to the DS2760, You can't use any copper wire in this run. It has to be T/C wire.
You can wire nut the T/C connections.
I would go with a type " J " T/C for the oven and the freezers
The T/Cs won't really need any type of corrosion control in Your Application

Messed up on the horsepower, dad always said 383/360hp, guess he was being wishful.

I hope the T/C info was of help.
BTW Sounds like your Dad really did do you a favor by selling that 67 Plymouth just before you were of age to drive it ,and getting you that SLOW FAT FORD instead was just a Father thing. I'm Not gonna start My son out with a power house, I want Him to learn how to drive first.
Do the math: A pathetic 108mph in the 1/4 mile is 13sec ETs NOT 11sec ETs

My first car was a 62 t-bird I completely rebuilt engine and transmission, THEN he let me get the Merc.
Funny how once you realize what it takes to fix it , you won't break it as easily.
As to the 11.03 quarter mile, I wish I still had the time slip AND trophy.
I always had to walk her out of the hole, was running street radials (GR70 14'S), so once I got past all the rubber left from burnouts I could let her run till the rev limiter cut in. BTW the win was against a 69 C Stock Chevelle. I was the only car in my class so they paired us (the guys at Raceway Park were SO chevy guys), caught the Chevelle at the 2-3 shift, then all he saw was my tail lights. Every car I ever came up against took me off the lights, then horsepower and torque took over. Wish I had the money for a good set of cheater slicks, but looking back I probably saved myself some U joints and clutches.
Still have a sweet spot in my heart for the old Mopars though.

If You need any more help with the BS2 and T/Cs, just give Me a jingle
BTW I know what it's like being the non CHEVY owner back in the day.The Chevy guys hated me,They couldn't out run me--And they knew why they couldn't.
I have a sweet spot for the old fords too,They were the easiest to out run!

Just buy a SS jacked one with grounded junction(the TC is touching the jacket for better response time). They are not that expensive and you run the risk of oxidation if you just twist the wires together and expect it to run a long time. Real TC's are welded under controlled conditions. Solder would possible add another couple metals of error. But then again when I was using them I needed +/- 2 deg C system control.
I have made one TC just for testing temp controllers in my shop by TIG welding the two wires from a TC extension wire.
For an exposed TC junction E type is corrosion resistant. Iron is in J type and the wires will rust.
"Tesla N.Tesla would have read the post replys more throughly,Had He had the INTERNET.

Would you like me to remove my post? Are there errors? If so elaborate.
I don't think ruddiness is really a ok thing for this forum.
Kind regards,
Dave

I was poking at You and having fun.I DID NOT mean to be Rude. I AM sorry that You took it this way. If You look back at some of the earlier posts, You'll see that Danny poked at me and I poked back. This was all in fun, and bragging rights. This is reminiscent of the old days of muscle cars.
I poked fun at You because You almost Duplicated one of my earlier posts But filled in TIG welding the Hot junction and that a type J T/C had iron in it and it would rust away.
