RGB LEDs

I'm looking for some RGB LEDs for a POV project.

These look like a good bet (I think they're the same part used in the ThingM BlinkM) but if anyone can
suggest something better (brighter, cheaper, larger view angle, lower power ..) I'd be interested to hear.

I'm trying to find Topbright's spec sheet for it, and this is the nearest I've got.
I'm quite puzzled about the product category.

    btw Radio Shack also has this type of LEDs if you only need a few I do not have the part # on me now

    For lot of 50 that is not a bad price

    And coming from Hong Kong they are good led for the money

    I also look at the seller past history and they have not had to many problem

    The seller that I have bought LEDs from Hong Kong·they do not have this type of LEDs for sale I looked for you

    I have bought on Ebay a few time in the past from sellers from Hong Kong·but not from this seller but if I need to order some of these LEDs to try them out I would take a Chance on this seller if· you are in THE USA it will take 3 to 4 week coming from Hong Kong

    For me I would stay away from China made LEDs I think I had bought some and they did not last long buyer beware of poor quality LEDs

    @Sam^3

    I've only ordered from them once (some stepper drivers, the leds, and a laser) and they seemed as good as anyplace else. As far as I remember, the shipping was reasonable (<week maybe?), the prices are fine, and everything was in the box. I never sent them any emails though. One thing is that their documentation is fairly lacking, but can't have everything.

    Note on the RGB LEDs: they have two versions, one with a common cathode and one with a common anode.

    Thanks for the comments. I've bought from that LED vendor before without any problems - I had some RGB flashing LEDs and they've worked well. I don't know if the vendor actually is the company Topbright or just someone who specialises in their parts. Topbright are actually a chinese company but they've been around for several years and seem to be reliable.

    The LED from seedstudio would be better in some ways as it would mount on a board edge, but the similar ones I found on ebay had a smaller viewing angle and I could do with quite a wide one here (the part I posted is 120 degree).
    Do you know what that part is ?
