Hasn't this been out for a little while? Maybe I am imagining things, but I thought I checked this out on WiZnet's site a couple months ago. This device is of inspiration thought to make the Propeller web server using the W5300 or W5100.

Timothy, that could be the case. As I said, I can't keep up. I'll try to organize things better.

This did force me to go back and check the pin spacings or pitch on the modules. The W5100 is closer than subsequent modules. Standard 0.1 inch pin spacing makes life so much easier.
So, maybe I'll use the W5300 module after all, even if it doesn't have SPI access. Other non-obvious features that I didn't grok at first glance makes me want to use the W5300 module.
The pin spacings I am referring to have to do with the WIZ830MJ module vs the WIZ810MJ.

HA! I know what you mean by keeping up!! It could be ones day job to simply visit trades shows, read the news, surf the web and compile reports on what is new in the technology world. Sounds like an analyst of some sort, I wonder what analysts there are for the hobby world. We could hire him to track all the new happenings in the hobby electronics and publish a weekly report.

Yes, and we could call it a "Magazine", and print monthly issues and ...

Just kidding. I will volunteer for the job.
