Try this! A funny gadget which lets you turn off almost every TV! If you hack it up and·interface it to a MCU like the basic stamp or replace the connections of the switch and connect it to your BOE-BOT. You can turn off the TV and time with your BOE-BOT.

I think I'm going to buy this kit·and interface it with my BOE-BOT.
It'll be hilarious to see a Ninja BOE-BOT turning off the TV.
Buy it here!

... If you follow it towards the bottom you will see firmware, which contains the power codes you need.

Thnx!
You will have to learn both the Arduino's C++ subset / libraries and the Stamp's PBasic 2.5 to translate between the two. It's possible to write a guide to how to do it, but there are a lot of details and it would be a lot of work to make such a guide.
There's another thread on an Arduino compatibility library for the Propeller, but it's still not a complete rote translation. You have to understand something about the program and the two languages.

The SX-B...is basic code... Pretty easy to convert to BS2 code.

JonnyMac wrote some SIRC stuff for the Propeller back in 09' too.
