For the current Propeller, we plan to add some intelligent multi-chip loading capability to the Propeller Tool so that groups or single chips within a group could be loaded with unique compiled top files.

I want to also make my multiple propellers use the same crystal but don't want to use anything more than a single 2 or 4 pin crystal chip.
If all chips used the same xtal, and we connected all chips in parallel to the prop plug. (i.e. all propeller chips use the same TX and RX traces, also the reset line is all the same for all chips.)
One would think that all chips could take the program at the same time.
I dunno, but this would make my component costs less, and help design issues for me.
Anyone?

Meh. Nothing here, move along.
