Does anyone have any experience using a Basic Stamp to communicate with a Beta-Brite 1036 LED sign? There's a lot of information on the web using PCs and PERL , but nothing showing a microcontroller interface. I'm wanting to take a text file I have stored·in the datalogger and display a word from the file on the LED based on various events. If I can just get the Basic Stamp to directly display a word on the display, I can pretty much get all the rest to work.
