Using Displaylinks compressed Video over USB with Propeller?

The Samsung U70 can be had for $99.
I think it would be great to pair it up with·the propeller.

It uses less ram, less pins,·it allows you to just update parts of the screen etc.

    Unfortunately, it's not going to happen without external hardware. The Displaylink protocol is designed for use with USB 2.0 and it requires a general purpose USB host and the Propeller directly supports neither. The PropPlug and similar USB interfaces are client-only and only support relatively low speed asynchronous serial data. The only external USB host interfaces support HID interfaces for keyboards, mice, joysticks and mass storage interfaces for flash drives, CDROMs, etc. The Propeller itself has been able to "fake" some simple HID interfaces, but there's neither enough memory nor enough speed to handle either USB 2.0 or something like Displaylink without external help.
