Two different BAUD rates in the same program...

Is there anything wrong with using two different BAUD's for devices that require this?· Is this something that one comes across in stamping?· I am using Linx's HP series wireless transmitter and receiver that operate properly any higher then 2400 and the Scott Edwards LCD that will operate on 2400 or 9600.· I chose the· 9600 just for faster operation of the Scott Edwards LCD.·

    You can use any Baud in any SERIN / SEROUT statement that works with the device at the other end. There are some devices that start up with a particular Baud when they're turned on (say 2400 Baud) then can be sent a command at that Baud that will switch them to another Baud for subsequent commands.
