3.5 floppy to usb

BADHABIT

I have an old system that I would like to change from floppy to USB.·It's an old terminal that uses a 3.5 floppy for programs.

I am wondering if you guys think this is something that needs a micro or would be something that could be done with an FTDI chip and some components. Or perhaps there is already an IDE (i think it's IDE) to USB converter.
