Parallax RF transmitter / reciever pair

· I was just wondering if increasing the antenna length a few inches will increase the range of the Parallax RF pair. Anyone have experience with this? Parts for my boe still coming in. By the way, Parallax is having a sale on BS2 stamps until Monday. I will be updating my bot again soon.

    No, increasing the antenna length will not increase the range. RF modules require very specific antenna designs (including length) to work to their full rating.

    I thought so. AM works but FM dosen't. I remember the old wireless mic transmitters were tuned by antenna length. I will have to experiment with the reciever. Thanks alot
