Hello, using PLX-DAQ, I see that you have to choose port # from 1 through 15, on my PC,· # USB port, more than 30, therefore I can not connect.

Someone knows how to fix it?

While the usb cable is unplugged go into device manager, show hidden devices and delete the ones not in use. This should free up these ports to be assigned when you plug the usb cable in again.

I did, I deleted all USB ports, reboot, and still add the same.
True Win, XP and Vista.

Hi,
We are using MSCOMM from Microsoft, and it was designed for only
up to COM15.

You can change COM port numbers by going to Device Manager,
select device, Port Tab, advanced.

Someday we'll put this in the help file or change the software...
