Not yet got my Boe-Bot + Ping but I'm thinking... Is somebody tried to introduce automaticaly in the program the conversion constant by measuring the temperature of the room with a device? If yes, how and with what.

The latest Stamps in Class book, Smart Sensors and Applications, has a chapter about the Ping))) sensor that addresses a few of those details he mentions, and also shows you how to account for air temperature affecting the speed of sound in your measurements, if that is an issue. You can download the book here:

Yes I know that you wrote. My question is: CmConstant· CON· 2260, 2260 is the constant for 22.2°C, is somebody tried to modify by program this constant, for example if temperature of the room is 26.0°C a program changes 2260 in 2275.
