i have a brushless motor and an esc for it. i need to first controll it with a basic stamp and then when thats working i need to move on to a propellor. from my understanding, an esc is just like a servo, you send a series of pulses and it rotates, is this the same for esc's or is it a different signal, would pulsout command for the bs2 work, also would something from obex like the pwm drivers work with the prop to drive it.

    Controller data sheet?

You could use a Propeller as a BLDC motor controller, of course, with a few other components.

An ESC like used in RC cars, planes etc. is designed to use the same signals as servos. So yes, pulsout should work fine. For the Propeller you could use the Servo32 object.
