BS2 burning out?

Hello All,
I have a stamp in class board with the four servo outputs.
I'm running 3 servos - the program works as planned.
However, when I put one of the servos under load - drives a little car, the servo stops running (will pulse when I re-power the board).
I believe I burned out the BS2.
But, now the BS2 won't be recognized when I try to re-program it, and when the I touched one of the small chips on it's board (maybe the interpreter chip) it was too hot to touch.
How did I manage to lose the BS2? Isn't the BS2 isolated from the servo?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards,
Shmow

Thanks for the reply.
I have the power supply I purchased from Parallax .
The other circuits or loads are an EMIC and an IR receiver.
I’m not sure I the BS2 became damaged.
Everything worked prior the putting the servo under load.
What do you think?

good point; fortunately, none of those outputs were sharing those pins.
