Hi,
I'm new here and new with robotics, even if I am in the least year at Mechatronics, in Romania.

I am having a problem, I don't get a clear value from my compass. The value I'm getting vary roughly 7 degrees.
Even after calibration the problem remains the same. I attached an image with my compass and how the wires are. I tried with longer and distanced wires but I can get the same answer.

Please help me and sorry for my english

Thank you.

I had a module on my breadboard, and found that I could rotate the whole thing and I'd get maybe 180 degrees of rotation output. My solution was to move it further away from the board. If you have servo extension cables, then you could try that. This thread may help as well: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=742053
