So I finished my first robot today. It uses the Propeller Education Kit and a BOE bot chassis. I got a project box and drilled some holes in the bottom to mount it and run the servo wires through. I used two LED's for object detection so I don't bash into walls. Pretty simple use of the propeller chip but its something I have been wanting to do for a while.

    Do try BoeBoeBasic from the Object Exchange. It has built-in support for up to 3 servos (2 wheel + 1 PING bracket) and an IR emitter / detector. You might have to change the pin numbers and recompile it.

    I'll check it out. Ping is probably the next step for me. I also want to work on using the different cogs to do different things. Probably have Ping running in a separate Cog.
