Using a Stamp with Lego Mindstorms

I have a Mindstorms NXT that has a broken control brick.· Does anyone know if it is possible to use the NXT sensors and motors with a Stamp?

Hmmm.... Well, have you notified LEGO about that? I am pretty sure they have a "Missing a part?" link somewhere on their website... I would try that first, then post whether or not you are able to get that part.... I have a few old sets that are missing a part or two, and I have found the part for an ecellent price. You might even want to do a Google search for the part ID to see if there is a great deal you can snipe. The part ID can usually be found somewhere on the underside of all LEGO pieces. I'm not sure about the NXT control parts though...

It's not missing, it's broken. And I don't want to pay the money to replace it when I have two Stamp modules sitting on a desk that are much easier to program anyway. smile.gif

Hmmm... Could you please post a picture of the piece and it's measurements so I can see if it's possible to fix?

    Thanks.

Say what? I'm not interested in fixing the brick. I just want to know if anyone has the pin-outs and commands to control NXT servos and sensors using a Stamp.

No, sadly I do not own an NXT (cries softly) and neither do I know the setup of the NXT. I would post this on the LEGO forums in a category relating to product support if yuo haven't already done so.

    Sorry...

    This may help:

You may also want to try looking for the various part schematics, and see what they are. Then it should be fairly simple to find some code for the BS2 that will take care of that.
