Is it possible to add an additional EEPROM to the BASIC Stamp Homework Board Rev. B?

Thanks

Yes, although it's completely separate from the existing EEPROM and can't be used as an extension of the existing EEPROM. There are some Nuts and Volts Columns on the subject (maybe #85?). The BS2 that's used on the Homeword Board doesn't have built-in I2C statements like the BS2p/pe/px Stamps. The Nuts and Volts Column provides subroutines that would allow you to use I2C devices connected to any pair of I/O pins. This includes EEPROMs.

You go to the main Parallax webpage and click on the Resources tab. You'll see a link to Nuts and Volts Columns. Click on that to go to the index, then pick the column you want or start browsing. There's lots of interesting stuff.

    Vaati,

There are a lot of articles to sort through; I believe Volume 3 has a nice I²C column, the link below·should get you started.

Oh, wow. Thanks so much for the column link. Searching through all of those seems to be quite the daunting task. =)

    Thanks.
