Because this is the first time I've used this library, I'll be doing a mandatory training on Tuesday.
I think they have a screen/display of some kind we'll get to use. :)

I've cleared the bringing of Propellers, monitors, cords, etc.
The only specific "electronics" rule is no soldering.
Also, no money can change hands on library property, so if you are going to sell something
to someone else, (not likely, but possible) then you'll have to go off-property. :)

Here's the other rules.. All standard stuff..

1. Recycling is mandatory and containers for aluminum, plastic bottles, and trash are provided. Please place your recyclables properly in the labeled containers.
2. No smoking or other use of tobacco (or similar) products is allowed at any time or anywhere on the Library campus.
3. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
4. Light refreshments (such as box lunches, breakfast pastries, or hors d’oeuvres) may be served and must be completely cleaned up by the end of the scheduled meeting.
5. The Library reserves the right to review use of food in the room. Advance notice is required.
6. Do not attach anything to the wall, floor or ceiling of the conference or meeting rooms without prior written permission of the Library Administration. This includes but is not limited to tape, pushpins and nails.

1. If a conference or meeting room is damaged or soiled, the person or group who scheduled the meeting shall be billed for any needed cleaning or repair costs to the Library.

7. Abuse of any conference room policy or procedure may lead to loss of conference and meeting room privileges.
8. The Library is not responsible for injuries to people or damage to property of individuals or organizations using a conference or meeting room.

This is just a (pardon the pun) "micro" gathering.. :)

If it works out for many who are "somewhat" in the area, perhaps we could do this
bi-monthly? For those further away, UPENE and UPEW are your best bet.

By all means I won't turn anyone away from this meeting. :)

Actually I moved us to a slightly smaller room.
They have a large HD television to connect a Propeller.

Some initial details..

Park in the back, enter at the rear entrance.
Once inside the first door, turn left and go to the end of the hall.

Bring laptops.. Bring Propellers.. etc.. etc..

I was just working out how many $8 props I would have to buy over there (about $20 here) to make the trans Atlantic flight worth while, and then how to sell the idea to her.

Don't forget. Propeller "micro" gathering is this Saturday.
Parking is in the rear of the library, enterance from the back.
As you enter the first set of doors, turn left and go to the end
of the hallway.

I'll try to post a picture of the building later, but it's hard to miss.

Bring laptops and Propellers.

Who's showing up from here?

I am definitely coming. All I have to do is clean up all the components in my room and finish my schoolwork. Not too hard to do, except for the entire "put away all those little components or else you won't be allowed to mess with them ever again!" part... smile.gif

@beebs:

Wow! That's a two hour trek for you one-direction! Nice to have you along!

Looks like we lost Vince and Cole, but we'll get them in a month of two.
We'll let those who show up decide how often we want to get together.

There's at least a couple more from this area on the hook, so we'll
have a decent handfull of people. I'm looking forward to it.

@Ken: You've been PM'd -- bottom line suprise us. :)

Anyone need me to bring a composite screen or two?
I have several small TV/1702 monitors which are on standby for UPENE.

Might be helpful if someone brings a surge strip. I seem to eat those
like candy in my shop and I haven't gone shopping for UPENE yet. :)
