May Be The Most Stupid Question Ever. But HELP bs2 Flickers

bs2 Flickers

Back To Basics.... Simple Led Connected To Pin 0 w/220ohm resistor.


Drive Low· = Led Off

Drive High = On.


BUT.... I drive it low. (low 0) and it stays off.
If i drive it high (high 0) it does turn on. but within a few seconds it FLICKERS off then on.· and continues every 3-4 seconds....

eather i have been awake to long and really over looking everything or ...........

chips has been acting weird that is why i have went back to step 1. to make shure its not something i have done. it seams to have a mind of its own..


have i totaly lost my mind?? or is the chip screwed?...

    There is a possibility that what you see is the stamp... resetting. Many reasons could be the cause... one reason is... it's broken and needs a repair.

    my question is.. is my bs2 the only one doing this? or have i lost my mind?..

    buy new chip?

    More likely, your power supply (battery) is weak and can't keep the LED lit for long before the voltage drops and the Stamp resets.

    do you have a 'STOP' at the end of your program (if not, put one there)?

    It is not a problem but a "feature" of END statement. Read all about it.

    This should be in·FAQ.
