Clock on Prop 2

This has probably been answered some where but I could not find it. Will the prop 2 run off the same 5 MHz crystal but with a 32x PLL or is it going to be a 10Mhz crystal with the same 16x PLL? Pretty sure I remember it was going to be internally 160Mhz.

Need to make your prop design easier or secure? Get a PropMod has crystal, eeprom, and programing header in a 40 pin dip 0.7" pitch module with uSD reader, and RTC options.

I wouldn't be that concerned. Both crystals cost the same.

I am wondering for syncing s prop and prop 2 together. can I use the same signal or do I need to make a pll circuit to multiply the 5 mhz to 10

No need for PLLs. For clock doubling it's enough an xor gate with a delay line. You can also start with 10M and divide by 2 for actual prop.

dividing would be more accurate also assuming both 30ppm

the biggest question is that what it will be?

I can build a pll with 2,4,8,16x easy enough but more care needs to be taken the higher I go
