PEK Robot

So I didn't know if you should try here or the Robot forum so forgive me if this is the wrong spot. I have just finished the PEK 40 pin. I'd like to take what I have and make a Boe-Bot like robot. So I need to get servo's and the like. Can I just get the Boe-Bot Chassis and the wheels and then stick my breadboard to that or would you recommend a different approach? I'm trying to take baby-steps here using what I have already so as to not freak out my wife with the $$$$ of my new hobby.

I built one as well but used a Prop Proto Board instead and recently added my own BlueTooth serial link PingDar
