Using the LCD module with the SX chip

I was wondering if the Parallax 2x16 Serial LCD (Non-Backlit) was easy to integrate with the sx chip. I am just wondering how one could program the chip. Could a person use the same code from BS2 with the sx? I am new to the sx chip so please keep it relatively simple.

Thank

Andy

Using a Parallax serial LCD is very easy but you have to be mindful that SX/B is not PBASIC and you have to adjust to the new syntax. It doesn't take long to get used to SX/B and the power it gives you is worth the effort.

I basically brought up the same question the other day:

From what I can gather so far, migrating from PBasic to SX/B only requires a desire to spend some time on it.

For the last two years I've written about the SX in my "Stamp Applications" column; these are available for download from the Parallax Resources section and you will probably find them useful. I come from a Stamp background (started with the BS1 in 1994) so my projects tend to be "real world."

Thank all of you for all of your help. I was wondering if their is one book like the book that came with the boe bot that introduces people to the sx language in the same way. Same type of exercises but only in sx?
