ok this is such a new newbie Retarded question.
Building a air shifter kill box for a motorcycle.. consists of

relay swiching on pin 14···· <Actuates Air Shifter>
relay swiching on pin 15···· <Kills Motorcycle For Designated Time>

relays are switched with npn transistors

Input Switch on pin 7

input switch is wired as described in manual
10k resistor and 220ohm...

if i use buttonpush command it only picks it up SOMETIMES or not at all
if i use INPUT un a look it picks it up say once every 30 push's

why is a simple button so hard?
i need a consistant input < It MUST run subs EVERYTIME it is pushed.

PLEASE HELP the warm weather is here and i need this completed for the track....
thank you everyone for even taking the time to laugh at this.

Post your program as an attachment so that we can see it.

without figureing out the button input there is no program... because it seams every direction i go it doesnt even receive the input.

even flowing the book and sample code does not work consistantly.

The BUTTON statement examples do work. There must be something wrong with either how you have your button connected or how you've entered the sample programs. Without a clear and complete diagram of how you've connected things and without a copy of your source program, it's impossible to say anything other than to check carefully how you've wired up your pushbutton and how you've entered your program.
