Hello

I'm new here, and want use the Propeller with Spin.
For my next project i need to add a VGA to Video converter?
Anyone have do it with Propeller, or exists a object example code for this.
A schematic with a·Propeller are also welcome.

Best regards
Lelo

You should make the following calculatios:

    - How much data needs to be converted ? Resolution, bandwidth, frames-per-second.
    - How can it be done ?
    - Then you look for a solution.

If you mean composite to VGA with 2 or 3 MHz bandwidth at 60 half-frames-per-second: forget it (with the prop).

    Hello Lelo,

    just a moment.

Post more information about your project.
Do you REALLY have to CONVERT a VGA-signal given from some device
that HAS TO BE used into a video-composite-signal ?

Or do you want to use a propeller-program coded for VGA-output
and in the new project you don't want to use a VGA-monitaor but a TV-Screen ?

This can be done by changing the objects and adapting some method names

If you need to convert a VGA-signal into a video-composite-signal

that's not worth developing it new

here you can buy it - ready to use - for what's worth two hours of an engineers work

    VGA-TV-converter 60 €

    VGA-TV-converter 100€

    best regards

    Stefan
