Pinger on Panservo stops after a while

Hi,
·· I have a panservo (Towerpro SG-50) rotating a pinger (P'lax). The pinger stops (LED off) after about 5 minutes of pinging. The time varies. Servo is fine and keeps rotating back and forth.
They share the same power(5v) and ground from proto board.
Servo signal is connected straight from pin 8. Pinger is connected via· (1K ohm, 0.5w) resistor to pin 4.
Can you explan how can I make pinger work constantly along with panservo. I am using standard code (pinger.spin ->getMydistance()) and servo32v3.spin for servo.

Sincerely,
Venkata.

Noise from the servo affecting the MCU?

Are your batteries fresh? I've noticed on my setup that the servo will turn for a little while, then stop. Pressing the reset doesn't do anything, but flipping the power switch off/on does. I've concluded that it's low battery.

Hi SLRM, I am using R'shack's variable wall outlet at 7.5v.

Leon, what is MCU? How servo noise can reach it?? How can I fix it (assuming that is the case)?
