Need help with a unipolar motor

So if I were to put diodes between the stamp and driver chip would that stop the stamp from blowing?

    Sorry Dave,

    I must have hit New Topic instead of Post Reply. This should be in the "Need help with a unipolar motor" forum that I started yesterday. All the relevant information including a diagram is in there.
