I need help with a old BS1!

A friend give me a old BS1, this works, well there is some program on PIC16C56 and LEDs stay doing a Christmas here...
But BS1, come with a old BD25 cable, and I dont have any PC with a DB25 port, the best I have is a DB9 in a old PC... DB25 from BS1 uses pins 2,11 and 25 ... well I cant use a adapter ...
Exists any mode to write to BS1, using DB9 port?

I don't believe the current software even supports the parallel port programming process for the BS1, just this serial programming process.
I go try to make my own cable...
