Laser range finder with digital output

Hi everyone,
I've spent a few hours online looking for a laser range finder that has a digital output so it can be interfaced with microcontrollers, but I can't find one.
Anyone know of a company that makes something like this?
I'm not looking for a LIDAR, just a simple laser range finder that when a range sample is taken, it can be sent to a microcontroller.
Thanks!

I just found this page if anyone is interested. Their laser rangers that can connect to a computer via RS-232.
One problem though......they're very expensive haha.
