Visual Basic 2005 programming reference

Hi All,
I've recently purchased Visual Studio 2005 which contains Visual Basic.· I also bought a couple of books that are "how to", meaning, they give me a global view of the software and that's ok.· I am now looking for what we used to call in the old days a 'programming reference' that would list all the language statements and their related descriptions.
Has anyone seen such a thing for Visual Basic?
I'm not talking about the built-in help file or on-line knowledge base, I'm looking for a book.
Thanks much,
DJ

Instead of:
"Those who can, do.· Those who can't, teach." (Shaw)
I prefer:
"Those who know, do.· Those who understand, teach." (Aristotle)

@Jeff: thanks for the recomendation on the other O'Reilly book.
It looks like I'll be ordering both.
"...serial comms is a bit thin." Figures. That's the main subject that I'm *still* persuing. You'd think by this time the access and use of a seria/USB port would be a 'one line' operation.
Regards,
DJ

Thanks again for the input; more reading ahead!

I have a method for the serial comms that works really well with Parallax processors at some fast baud rates , I need to put it down on paper and fill it with comments.
If there is anything I can help with just post your ?'s
Jeff T.
Look for a PM.
