StampOne News!
a new magazine all about the Parallax BS Micro

download here http://forums.parallax.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=60052

The Spring 2009 Premier Issue #1 is now launched. You can download it at no charge whatsoever. It is my goal that stamp hobbyists will enjoy the ideas, articles, information, and that included projects will be exciting, unique, useful, mind stimulating, inspirational, and informative learning experiences.

The articles are kept simple and easy to understand. There's many photos to get a good feeling for duplicating the projects. Suggestions are made for exploring further. This is great for hobby projects, science projects, student assignments, and educational ideas. If you like to experiment with new things, this is exactly for you!

Comments are welcome, and try not to flame me too much. I'm only one person working
alone on this project in my spare time with limited resources.

I looked up the data sheet for the pic16c56 and the specs say DC-40MHZ. Does that mean it can run up to 40mhz? If so that would make for one heck of overclocking project!

The overclocking project is a fascinating one. Although the chip specs have ratings to 40Mhz, there are other limiting factors such as the embedded timing in the software. There are some workarounds with this to achieve success in overclocking a Stamp. It's a fascinating topic to explore so stay tuned!
