You obviously have to connect the servo's ground wire to the Propeller's ground. You also need a supply voltage for the servo motor. Something between 4.5V and 6V is typical. Some people use supplies as high as 7.5V although that may cause greater brush wear in the motor.
Connecting a 1K series resistor between the servo control lead and the Propeller I/O pin is best although you could connect them directly. The 1K resistor protects the I/O pin against wiring mistakes and reduces the possibility of electrical noise being conducted back into the Propeller from the servo motor.
