SOLVED / CLOSED Parallax USB to Serial (RS-232) Adapter - schematic??

This is a project planning question.
The Parallax USB to Serial (RS-232) Adapter is a true adapter - not a programming tool / access. Is that correct?
If so, I should be able to "hook it up" to Bluetooth "dongle" and make a wireless connection to stamp using serial protocol.
At this project stage - from stamp to PC via serial / bluetooth hardware as data link and using PC as GUI.
Any constructive comments are as always appreciated.

    The USB to serial adapter provides a 9pin serial connection AT THE COMPUTER. It will not work as you expect unless it is connected to the computer. If this is what you want then the parallax adapter is a good choice.
