Javelin emulator? Also hardware emulation and a few beginner question

Hi all im new to Javelin stamp programming and i am yet to buy any hardware to get me started. My question is is there any emulation software which will emulate the hardware and emulate the running of the code on the hardware? Im a java programmer myself however i am not sure how well i will do javelin programming. Any help would be appreciated.

    No emulator or simulator.
    But you can download the IDE software and compile classes.
    All classes are provided in source so you can inspect these.
