Does anyone know where i can find a low voltage(6-12v) hi torque servo motor for 30 40bucks?

Im trying to rotate a shaft from one end,·it wieghs about 15 lbs. Speed is not an issue but id still like to keep the ration pretty low.
Ive search Lynx, Digikey, Robot shop, and a few others. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Could you give more info? how fast, how many degrees rotation, is the shaft supported at the other end? Things like that.

    Thanks for replying.
About 180degrees of motion at most, unsure of the speed, that shaft is suspendin. Im actually trying to emulate a human waist/hip/leg to give you an idea.
    thanks again

    No

May I suggest the HB-25 motor controller. This device will power a large DC motor "1/2 HP" with common servo commands. this unit can simulate a servo motor if a gear reduction is used, like a worm gear drive.

Take a look at the HB-25

Note though that if you use the HB-25 you won't get accurate positioning (like a true servo).

Is this for BASIC Stamp control? A general parts question should be in the Sandbox Forum.
