Help! Pluse Generator

Just a beginner!
Need help in understanding how to use the pluse generator in Stamp works experiment #10 Digital clock.
It shows its connected to pin 15. Is this pluse coming from the BS2 or coming from an external source like a 1hz crystal.
Can somebody point me in the right direction. Thanks!

The pulse generator is located·on·the Professional Development Board and can generate pulses at rate of
1Hz, 10Hz, 100Hz and 1KHz. Please view the documentation on the for Professional Development Board·more information.
