Connecting pins on non-printed curcuit board

I an trying to prototype a board. I tried to solder the points together but made a total mess. I want to connect an adc0838 to the prop on a prop protoboard. Insert dip, solder pins no problem. How do I connect the pins to the prop?
I have tried bending the pins of the dip and soldering wire to the pins. Looks terrible.

How do you connect two holes together neatly.

·Any help is appreciated.

I had the same question. there is a very fine wire called "circuit wire?" that you can use to easily connect your solder points...
Radioshack carries it... The have a whole bunch of boards that have the same think... just holes. I asked the guy... ok... so how do you use these?... and i think he said "circuit wire." Some of the guys say "wire wrap them"... which from the paleolithic period and there is no longer anyone who can describe the technique...

If you Google "wire wrap"... is simply says to go to RadioShack.

I personally take everything off board and connect them with 3 wire ribbons.

Wire wrap is easy. You need the tool with the striper and wire. You strip the insulation off the wire and insert the bare end in the tool, then slip it over the wire wrap post and twist.

Thats pretty much it; you can solder the joints to make them solid but about 10 twists and you have a connection. They have some chip cheater lables that slip on the back side of the board that have the pin numbers on them to make wiring a chip faster. Wire wrap only will gave a good connection on square posts. You need the sharp edge to hold the wrap on. Round ones tend to slip off.

I have been thinking about this for a year. I tried the wire wrap technique just after WWI.

I just got the idea. Strip the wire and tint. Twist with a pair of twisors. Place on pin and solder them together.

I will be going to Radio Shack this afternoon. I will ask about circuit wire. Thanx for the idea.
