Hello all,
··· I am experiencing problems with the·SX-KEY.· Until recently I haven't had any trouble opening the application, but now when ever I try to open SX-Key it opens, but doesn't display in the monitor.· There is a tab in the tool bar with options to restore, close etc..· No matter what I try I can not get the IDE to open.· I have tried reinstalling the software and still get the same results.· If anyone has an idea what might be going on I would appreciate some help.· Thanks.

There are 10 types of people that understand binary, those who do, and those who don't.

Most likely the window has somehow gotten positioned off screen and is "invisible" now.
There are two solutions:
1 - Start the IDE. Click on the button in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen for the IDe. Next, hold the "ALT" key and then hit the spacebar. A system menu should appear somewhere on your screen. Hit the "m" key on your keyboard. A small four way arrow should appear somewhere on your screen. Use your keyboards arrow keys to move this four way arrow into the center of your screen and hit the enter key. You should now have the IDE where the four way arrow was.
2 - Open RegEdit. Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ParallaxInc\SX-Key\2.0\". Delete the "Editor Window" key. Start the SX-Key IDE and it should appear in the center of your desktop.
Note that the second solution involves editing your registry. When messing with the registry, if you're not familiar with what you are doing, there is always the potential to screw things up for the rest of your computer.
Thanks,
