I trust that while in the future you downloaded the entire history of winning numbers in the Florida Lottery through, say, year 2012. Please forward to me by private e-mail at the address below. Thanks.

    I'm posting from 1948.

How's the future? Is the Dow up over 500 yet? Man, that would make a lot of people rich.

Your just now on time travel? Welcome to the club! Its nice around here, you'll like it, and if you don't just change your settings.

For a real kick try the inter-dimensional travel. That's a hoot!

    1. How far in the future? I want to ask a question about the Cubs... but if it is only a hundred years, I already know the answer...

    2. I plan to ask another question tomorrow... what is it?

So... if I borrow the flux capacitor... and get the programming right... and go backwards in time and I can do it all before the meeting...

    Seems pretty complicated...

Acctually if you had the flux capacitor you could do all of this after the meeting and still make it on time.

    Holy Cow...

I just got a package... FedEx... from Parallax. Inside I found a flux capacitor... no diagrams... just an admonition...

"Pin assignment errors can damage the flux capacitor."

On the instructions sheet it simply says:

    "To go forward .... E=mc^2
    To go in reverse mc^2=E."

"This unit is carbon neutral, but iron deficit."

"Pin assignment errors may also cause global warming, global cooling and helium collection in the atmosphere"

    "FDA approved."

I know... it doesn't make any sense to me either... maybe someone else has an idea...

And what does it mean "iron deficient"... maybe in order to be activated, it needs iron oxide...

I found a website... but all it says is "under construction... please come back yesterday."

Further progress... When I first got the package, I just set it down on my work bench...next to my Window's computer... and the computer sort of went puff... with magic smoke all around. This startled me... so I moved it over to the other side of the bench, where my is where my Mac happens to be... and it went puff.

I just took it into my kitchen, where the light is a little better and my television turned on with and a help screen popped up... but it is all in hexidecimal.

In the far future (I assume), how many 128 Cog Propeller's will have to be embedded in a teenager's beenie before it functions correctly?

Well... that was easy... I was afraid that I was going to have to use an ascii lookup table... but it appears that the hexadecimal is actually BCM... binary coded Mandarin...with English syntax.

To satisfy us looking forward to the 'near' future - will we be as excited with Prop 2 ?

I took it out to my favorite Chinese resturant... and showed it to the owner. Turns out that it is 12th century Mandarin...
It means... "To achieve your destiny, you must remove the curse from your house."

Then I showed him my rough copy of the rest of the help screen ... and he said it was a recipe for Chinese fortune cookies.
Then I showed him my flux capacitor... and he started laughing... turns out that it isn't a flux capacitor at all... it is an electronic version of a Chinese cookbook... "There must have been a shipping error... " was all he could say, when he stopped laughing at me.

When I got home... I got a letter from Chip, profusely apologizing about the shipping error and a new package... with a flux capacitor in it... that was shipped last week.
