BS2px and the Schmitt trigger

I am still performing functional testing of my BS2px and have a question. My testing of the THRESHOLD and SCHMITT trigger functions consists of running the BS2pxADC program and then using debug on a I/O pin to see what happens when either function is enabled. When I test with the threshold not enabled the ( TTL/0) logic it goes from low to high at about 1.4 VDC +/-. When enabled I see 2.5 +/- VDC (CMOS/1 ) . This as advertised and passed the functional test as far as I am concerned.
When I test The Schmitt triger function I see a change in logic from 0 to 1 at just over 1.5 VDC when not enabled and just over !.00 VDC when enabled.I should not see a change until approximately 4.25 VDC. Perhaps my method of testing is not compatible with the Schmitt trigger function.Whatever the case If you can shed any light on the subject for me i would appreciate it.
